The hotel is located in a prime spot, just a short walk from the main street on the island. It has been serving guests for over ten years and is situated in the Medical School area. The hotel is perched in the heights of Picard, offering stunning views of the Portsmouth area. The rooms are spacious and decorated with local art and furniture. Guests are provided with a cell phone for easy communication. The hotel also offers a beautiful view of the ocean.
One downside was that the bed tended to sag a bit in the middle, which may have caused discomfort for two people.

The hotel interior was excellent. Le flambeau restaurant, located within 20 minutes' walk, is a good dining option...

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the clean and functional hotel with a pool. The staff quickly got to know us and had our breakfast preferences waiting. The hotel's amazing vista from our personal balcony gave us a beautiful view of Fort Shirley, the Cabrits, and even the Saints and Guadeloupe in the background. We also appreciated the great connections to local tour operators who really knew the island inside out.
Felt well taken care of, no complaints.

Located in the heights of Picard overlooking the Portsmouth area, The Champs offers stunning views of the island and sea. The rooms are spacious and very clean, featuring comfortable king-sized beds, dark curtains, and amenities such as air conditioning and a small fridge. The staff is warm and accommodating, providing excellent service and a complimentary made-to-order breakfast.
One inconvenience is that the hotel is a bit removed from the main street, requiring a walk down a winding hill to reach local shops and bars.

We had a fantastic time at Champs! The couple who runs the hotel were incredibly helpful, giving us great tips on hiking, diving, and local restaurants. Our room had a breathtaking view of the ocean and the city. The breakfast included was delicious, and the dinners were a highlight of our stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel provided an airport pick up upon my arrival and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating during my stay. The made-to-order breakfast was fantastic and the view from my room was breathtaking. Plus, the hotel had great connections to local tour operators which helped me explore the island efficiently.
The limited food options available in the hotel's bar/restaurant. The menu mainly consisted of burgers and the atmosphere was dominated by loud American music and student-like activities.
